Garry Sheley Sr.- Flutist

Garry was born in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Central Technical Institute in Kansas City, Missouri and recieved an AS. degree in Electonic Engineering.

Garry studied the flute at the Conservatiore of Music in Kansas City and was the principle Flutist and Piccoloest in Wyandotte High School's band and orchestra. He studied under Mrs. Patty Lynn of Santa Maria for approxiamtely 4 years. Garry was the principle piccolo player for the Kansas City, Kansas Civic Orchestra and was the 2nd flute and piccolo player for the Allan Hancock College Concert Band in Santa Maira, California. He was also the Principle Flute and Piccolo with the San Luis Obispo County Band and has played in the Santa Maria Flute Choir using the bass flute. Garry attended a Masters Class at UCSB under Michel Debost. Garry is presently involved in the Morro Bay White Caps where he plays the flute and piccolo and is a flute instructor at Coelho Academy of Music.
